Order Shipping & Return Policy

- Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email that your order was received.
- Please allow 24-48 hours from the time of placing your order for processing.
- Please note orders can not be canceled after items have shipped.
Order Fulfillment
- Most orders will ship within 3-7 business days.
- You will receive a follow up email with tracking information upon shipment.
- On all Safe purchases, you will be contacted by a delivery agent to set up an appointment for delivery within the next 5-10 business days.
- Please Note: All shipping is curbside, which provides for delivery made to the curb at the end of your driveway.
- Drivers do not assist with unpacking, or moving freight beyond the curbside, or disposal of packing materials.
- The person on the order must be present for signature upon delivery.
- BEFORE ACCEPTING DELIVERY - Do Not Sign The Delivery Receipt Until You Inspect Thoroughly and Do The Following:
- Ensure you have received every piece noted on your packing slip.
- Make sure they have no exterior damage, open properly, and that the interior is intact.
- If any damage has been found, make detailed notes on the delivery receipt and take pictures of any damage.
- You have the right to refuse the freight if there is any damage.
- If you are refusing delivery due to damage, contact us immediately.
- Write on the receipt “refusal of delivery” with detailed notes.
- Please Note: Failure to follow these instructions will result in denial of return and refund.
- We do not accept returns on safes once purchased due to the shipping damages that can happen with these items and the cost of shipping these units.
- If the item is damaged in shipping the customer must refuse the safe at time of delivery . (PLEASE See shipping policy above)
- Once a unit ships we do not refund original shipping unless the item is refused due to damages.
On Non-Safe Purchases
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, unused, and be able to be sold as new.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase date. All returns will be inspected prior to a refund being issued.

General Returns Policy
- Unopened Box (Original Packaging):
- Full refund minus restocking fee and shipping charges (both ways).
- Required: Returns Authorization form.
- Refund method: Same as original payment (up to 14 business days)
- Deductions: 25% manufacturer's restocking fee, shipping and handling fees (both ways), cost of promotional/free products if not returned.
- Opened Box:
- Applicable: Restocking fees, delivery, and return shipping fees (both ways).
- Refund method: Same as original payment (up to 14 business days).
- Deductions: 25% manufacturer's restocking fee, shipping and handling fees (both ways), cost of promotional/free products if not returned.
- Damaged Product:
- Notify the delivery company at time of delivery. If the product is damaged please take pictures and refuse delivery. Contact us immediately at info [@] IndepenceSafes.com.
- Options: Exchange for a new product or full refund (item exchange dependent on availability.)
- Requirement: Return of promotional/free products or billing for their value plus shipping & handling.
- Custom Products or Non-Stock Items:
- No returns accepted.
- Cancellation: No Returns on Custom Items will be issued once production has started.
Other Conditions
- All requests for refunds, cancellations, and exchanges must be made within 30 days of product shipment.

- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Please wait for instructions on how to return your item prior to sending back to ensure it returns to the correct warehouse.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit (minus restocking and shipping fees) will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately final sale or clearance items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@independencesafes.com.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
